How do I make a reservation at The Terrace?

Tables for smaller parties can be booked directly through our online booking page. For larger groups, celebrations or private dining enquiries, please get in touch with our team and we'll be glad to help.

Do I need to book in advance?

We always recommend booking, particularly at weekends, though walk-ins are warmly welcomed too. Please note that tables on the outdoor terrace can't be taken as walk-ins — given how in demand they are, terrace seating is best reserved in advance.

Can I host a private event or large group at The Terrace?

Yes. The Terrace offers bespoke private dining and events across several spaces — the Colonnade Room, the Wisteria Room, the Horus Room and the Obelisk Room — ideal for birthdays, family gatherings, corporate events and conferences.

We can cater for larger parties of approximately 50–100 guests, with special allocations and tailored arrangements available on request. To discuss your event, visit our Private Dining page.

Are you open on bank holidays?

Yes — we're open every day, bank holidays included.

What are the opening hours of The Terrace?

We're open seven days a week for coffee, brunch, lunch, afternoon tea, cocktails and dinner.

Sunday – Thursday: 12:00pm – 12:00am
Friday – Saturday: 12:00pm – 4:00am
Kitchen 12pm – 10pm  ·  Afternoon Tea 12pm – 3:30pm  ·  Sunday Roast 12pm – 6pm

Does The Terrace accommodate dietary requirements?

We are always happy to accommodate special dietary requirements and allergies. Our menus include vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free options, and you are welcome to discuss any requirements with us in advance or inform a member of our team on arrival.

Our front-of-house team is fully briefed on allergens across all the menus we serve.

What coffees do you serve? Do you have dairy alternatives?

Our baristas serve espresso, americano, macchiato, flat white, latte, cappuccino, mocha and iced latte. Soy, almond and oat milk are all available.

Are your cocktails allergen-free?

Most of our cocktails are allergen-free; dairy features in our Piña Colada and White Russian. As with any bar, we can't guarantee a cocktail is completely free from allergens due to the possibility of cross-contamination — but we'll always do our utmost to accommodate your requirements, so please do let us know.

Can I just come for drinks?

Of course — you're very welcome to join us just for drinks, at the bar or out on the terrace, no dining required. Walk-ins are welcome; for larger groups of 10 or more, do get in touch in advance so we can save you the perfect spot.

Is à la carte available during the festive period?

During the festive season our festive menu takes centre stage. Our à la carte menu isn't served on Fridays and Saturdays throughout this period, but it may be available on other days — please enquire and we'll confirm availability for your preferred date.

Do you have outdoor seating?

Yes — our beautiful, covered terrace overlooks the River Leam, for scenic riverside dining and drinks whatever the weather.

Is the terrace heated?

It is — the terrace is heated and kept cosy year-round. Do ask your waiter to tune the warmth to your table, and if you'd like to linger a little longer, feel free to ask for a blanket too — we're always happy to bring one over.

Is your venue wheelchair accessible?

Yes — we have ramp access and accessible facilities.

What is the dress code at The Terrace?

Relaxed yet sophisticated — smart-casual is just right. Come as you feel, whether it's a riverside coffee, a long lunch on the terrace, or a candlelit dinner; we'd simply love to see you.

Are dogs allowed?

Well-behaved dogs are warmly welcomed on the terrace, though we're unable to allow them inside the restaurant.

Do you have live music or DJs?

Yes — we host live music regularly, particularly at weekends. Follow us on Instagram to discover what's coming up.

Is there parking available at The Terrace?

We don't have private on-site parking, but there are public car parks a short walk away in central Leamington Spa.

Are you near the train station?

Yes — we're just a 5–10 minute walk from Leamington Spa station.

Do you take card or cash?

We accept all major cards, contactless and cash. The only card we're unable to take is American Express.

When did The Terrace open, and who designed it?

The Terrace sits on the bank of the River Leam in an elegant Regency–Victorian building, with coastal-inspired pastel décor, soaring high ceilings and our signature hand-painted walls.

The interior was designed by Simrinjit Dhariwal.
